Sometimes I go somewhere alone,
But you can go there too,
Although you might not like it
Because the door is hard to open,
And the more you push the more it twists inside its frame and binds.
And there’s only one place to sit,
Though it might be big enough for two of us.
But I’ve never really tried.
The lighting in my place is not so great either.
It’s just a single incandescent bulb in the middle of the ceiling.
But there’s nothing there for me to see,
So its never been a worry.
If you think you want to join me,
We might want to get a lamp.
Of course, that’s assuming that we get that door open.
And it’s cold outside,
And the door is worse in colder weather.
But I think between us we can manage.
